I have always been moved by still photos. Capturing a moment in time that will be viewable by generations to come. Life races past us and is forever changing. Images made today are reminders of how things were...at that time, at that place, on that day. These memories are sometimes pleasant, sometimes painful, but are always meaningful to those whose minds are transported back to that time, that place, that day. Photographs are personal, and conjure up the most amazing feelings and recollections...what were we thinking, what was the mood, what was going on in "life"? It all comes back. I don't think it matters whether the images were staged in a photo shoot or candidly snapped...the memories remain priceless. This is how I shoot, and this is who I am as a photographer. Photography, for me, is art, an art form I am constantly learning, and one that I hope I contribute to, each time I press the shutter.
